Job Description:
As a Senior Software Developer at SmartDVM Technologies, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing cutting-edge software solutions to meet the company’s technological needs. You will have a deep understanding of all stages of application and software development.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software applications. Your responsibilities will include:
* Project Continuity: Must be capable of taking charge of the ongoing development application. Ensuring seamless progress and maintaining momentum in the project. As a senior developer, you must be quick at understand the current state of the application, identify any bottlenecks, and implement solutions without significant delays.
* Software Development: Lead the end-to-end development of scalable and maintainable software solutions using best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
* Technical Leadership: You must be ready to take charge by managing the technical aspects and also leading the development team. Mentor and guide junior developers, provide technical expertise and contribute to the overall technical strategy of the company.
* Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions that align with business objectives. Must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure that the project aligns with business goals.
* Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, evaluate new technologies, and recommend ways to enhance the company’s software capabilities.
* Code Review: Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards.
* Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing timely solutions to ensure the seamless operation of software applications.
* Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, architecture, and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and future development.
Qualification
- Must be capable of taking charge of the ongoing development application
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Over 5 years of proven experience as a software and application developer, with minimum of 5 years experience in Python language.
- Expertise in multiple programming languages, such as React, Django, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design principles, and best practices.
- Solid experience with database management systems SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB).
- Strong knowledge of cloud service providers like AWS or GCP and SAAS application development.
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
