CHARGEBACK AND DISPUTE MANAGER
Facilitate knowledge transfer on how chargebacks and disputes work between Issuers. Africapay International Limited
Overview
We are looking for an individual with 7+ years of experience as a Chargeback and dispute management specialist for Issuing and Acquiring banks to work for a period of 12 months for a multinational company.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate knowledge transfer on how chargebacks and disputes work between Issuers and Acquirers.
- Provide insights to help Clients design efficient processes.
- Contribute ideas for training materials created by Client Learning.
- Support with project management activities
- Guide Mandates and manage new compliance releases.
- Manage project schedules, risks and ensure timely resolution of any issues.
- Ensure project documentation is up to date.
- Create strong ties with vendors and workstream owners, ensuring their efforts align with project goals.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., business, technology)
- Management skills
- 7+ years of experience in Issuing and Acquiring Chargeback operations of a bank/fintech
- Extensive experience working on payment products/processes in the SSA region
- Knowledge of both chargeback activities.
- Ability to train and create training materials.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving, with the ability to identify & manage project risks.
- Experience managing schedules and resources.
- Proficient in the English language.
