Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Infographics and Information Designer. The Infographics and Information Designer will be responsible for creating visually compelling infographics and information graphics that effectively communicate complex data and concepts. They will collaborate with various teams to understand project requirements and objectives, conduct research to gather relevant data and information, and use their design skills to transform data into clear and engaging visual representations. This role is located in Lagos, with flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Information Design, Information Graphics, and Data Visualization
- Proficiency in Visual Communication and Communication
- Experience creating visually appealing and engaging infographics and information graphics
- Knowledge of design principles and best practices
- Proficiency in design software and tools
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the field of data visualization or a related field is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Information Design, or a related field

- A strong portfolio showcasing your infographic design skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Excellent data visualization skills and an understanding of information hierarchy.
- The ability to translate complex data sets into clear and concise visuals.
- Impeccable attention to detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience with sourcing, cleaning and analysing raw data.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for infographics.
- A passion for storytelling.
