Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli has expressed her delight over the love story between Nigerian music star Davido and his wife, Chioma.
Taking to her Instagram page, Omoni shared how their love has brought immense joy to her, making her smile for days.
Omoni revealed that her happiness for the couple is so overwhelming that if her cheeks burst from smiling, people should hold Davido and Chioma responsible. She described the feeling as having butterflies in her tummy, noting that it’s a beautiful experience.
If my cheeks burst, you people should hold Davido and Chioma cos what is this smiling I’ve been doing for days now! I just catch myself smiling so hard and it’s such a beautiful feeling. Omoni’s joy is shared by many in the entertainment industry. When Davido and Chioma welcomed twins last year, Omoni was one of the first celebrities to celebrate with them, thanking God for the double blessings.
Similarly, actress Sarah Martins congratulated the couple on their union, particularly praising Chioma. She highlighted that their upcoming wedding is divinely ordained, describing Chioma as a deserving woman who merits all the best life has to offer.
Big Brother Naija All Stars housemate Uriel Oputa also defended Chioma against online trolls, stating that those mocking her now would soon admire her. She praised Chioma for her peaceful demeanor and maturity, expressing her happiness for the bride-to-be.
A few days ago, Davido’s aide, Isreal, wrote a heartfelt note to Chioma, emphasizing her good character and stating that she deserves to have the entire Lagos shutdown for her.
On a different note, controversial investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo advised the couple to keep their private life away from the public eye. She suggested that their wedding should have been a private event to avoid unnecessary attention and scrutiny.
