Tania Omotayo, former girlfriend of Nigerian music sensation Wizkid and star of *Real Housewives of Lagos*, recently celebrated a surprise baby shower thrown by her friends in anticipation of her second child.
On the 14th of June, Naijapr reported that during her birthday celebrations, Tania announced her pregnancy, sharing stunning photos proudly displaying her baby bump and expressing joy in her growth and glow in life.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Tania Omotayo expressed her gratitude to her friends for organizing a memorable baby shower that took her completely by surprise. She described the event as exceeding her expectations, with every detail perfectly executed based on the inspiration photos she had shared with her friends.
Yesterday I was surprised by the best girls anyone could ask for. They went above and beyond to make sure I had the shower of my dreams. I’m still in awe of how perfect it was considering I was completely kept out of the loop,” Tania wrote, reflecting on the joyous occasion. “My Girls still managed to pull off the best day exactly how I envisioned it would be. Every single inspo photo I ever sent to them was fully executed and I still can’t believe it, my heart is so full.”
Tania Omotayo, who has been candid about her struggles with Endometriosis in the past, highlighted the importance of friendship and sisterhood in her life, expressing everlasting gratitude for the support and love she received from her close circle.
In 2022, Tania spoke openly about her battle with Endometriosis, detailing the challenges she faced, including heavy periods and dismissive attitudes from some medical professionals. Despite these difficulties, Tania has found happiness in her personal life, having married business owner Olasunmbo Olawale after her breakup with Wizkid in 2016.
Tania Omotayo and Wizkid dated for five years, from 2011 to 2016, during which they were considered one of Nigeria’s prominent celebrity couples. Their relationship drew attention from fans and media alike, with Wizkid even mentioning Tania in his hit song “Jaiye Jaiye” featuring Seun Kuti.
