Job Description
- A video Editor is a professional, who is skilled at editing, and crafting compelling narratives by expertly assembling and refining footage.
- The candidate will collaborate with creative teams, including directors and producers, to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality videos that exceed project expectations.
- Proficiency in video editing software, exceptional storytelling abilities, and meticulous attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble footage to create cohesive and engaging videos. Job
- Work with directors and producers to understand project vision and goals.
- Select and sequence footage to create a narrative or visual flow.
- Add music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the video.
- Color correction and grading to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the project meets deadlines and expectations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and software developments.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience in a related field.
- 3 -5 years work experience.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Strong storytelling and visual skills.
- Attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
