In the midst of singer Davido’s custody battle with his first babymama, Sophia Momodu, Sandra Iheuwa, babymama to talent manager Ubi Franklin, has lashed out at Sophia for her extravagant spending habits.
Sophia recently shared a screenshot revealing her payment of a staggering N23 million rent for her apartment in Banana Island, Lagos. Reacting to this, Sandra Iheuwa criticized what she deemed as misplaced priorities, suggesting Sophia could have invested the money in a lucrative business instead.
23 million that can be used to start a lucrative business that can birth more money to afford the life you want. As a single mom, you should be able to cut your coat according to your size. Misplaced priorities,” Sandra remarked in a blog’s comment section.
Many echoed Sandra’s sentiments, questioning the sustainability of such lavish spending, especially in relation to Sophia’s financial status.
One commenter, Eta Enyi, cautioned against living above one’s means and leveraging children in financial matters, while others expressed concern over the potential financial strain such expenditures could cause.
This criticism isn’t new from Sandra Iheuwa towards Sophia Momodu. Last year, Sandra had rebuked Sophia over what she perceived as entitlement to Davido’s financial resources, emphasizing that being a babymama does not equate to entitlement to the father’s wealth beyond child support responsibilities.
As the custody battle continues to unfold publicly, Sophia Momodu’s spending choices have sparked debate, reflecting broader discussions on financial responsibility and parenting in the spotlight.
