Overview
Pearls Studios is a media organization that encompasses all aspects of content creation: TV shows and programmes, documentaries, shorts films, jingles, TV commercials, event coverage, and photography.
Founded in 2007, Pearl Studios NYC is conveniently located on 8th Avenue between 35th and 36th Street, in Midtown Manhattan, just steps away from Times Square and the Theatre District.
We have multiple floors and a variety of rehearsal studios for rent that are equipped with Yamaha pianos, mirrors, acoustical curtains and sprung wood or Marley floors. INTERN
Our studios and facility are the perfect setting for your next class, audition, rehearsal or event. Our studios are available for music, theater and dance auditions as well as for meeting spaces, events or instructor led classes. We have both daytime and evening rentals.
The 3rd floor of Pearl Studios has 13 studio rehearsal spaces of varying sizes to meet your rental needs. All studios have pianos. 12 studios have mirrors, acoustical curtains and Marley or wood sprung floors.
Our 519 8th Avenue location, located across the street from our main offices, has 11 studios of varying sizes to meet your needs. All studios have pianos. All studios have mirrors, acoustical curtains and Marley or wood sprung floors.
Responsibilities
- Engages with colleagues and clients to determine a project’s requirements
- Captures high-quality still images
- Maintains and uses equipment such as cameras, computers, and tripods
- Improves image quality using different editing methods
- Acts as the director during photoshoots
- Prepares props, lighting, and background to fit the project’s requirements
- Arranges objects, scenes, lighting, and background to adhere to specifications
- Maintains a database of archived images.
Qualification
- Must be a graduate of Mass Communication or Theatre Arts.
