Adejare, the daughter of music power couple Adekunle Gold and Simi, has vowed never to leave America.
In a video posted on Simi’s Snapchat page, the couple and their daughter, fondly known as Deja, were captured returning to the United States. Deja passionately declared her love for the country, promising never to leave it and expressing how much she missed it.
I love America, I will never leave, I miss you deeply, I kiss you badly, and I kiss you sleepless,” Deja said.
The video sparked a range of reactions from fans:

In May, Simi and Adekunle Gold celebrated their daughter’s 4th birthday. Simi shared a clip of her and her mini-me, revealing how she sometimes begs God to make more room in her heart because her love for Deja has it bursting at the seams. She described Deja as her light, heart, best friend, twin, joy, and beautiful little fireball.
Adekunle also penned a sweet note to his daughter, listing the many ways he loves her. The singer noted that he had been in love with her even before her arrival and that his heart couldn’t contain his love for her.
In February, Adekunle Gold publicly appealed to his fans to stream his and Simi’s new music releases, humorously noting that he needed to pay his daughter’s school fees.
Adekunle Gold and Simi married in 2019 and welcomed their first child, Deja, in 2020. A few months back, the couple celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary by releasing a music video, reminiscing about their five years together and expressing their happiness about their thriving union.
