Job Description
- The Marketing Operations Analyst will be responsible for optimizing our marketing processes, analysing data to drive decision-making, working on customized brand marketing plans and ensuring the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives.
- This role involves creating and maintaining reports, building dashboards, presentation decks and providing actionable insights to the marketing team.
- The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in data tools, and experience in operations management.
- The analyst will also support the marketing team by ensuring data accuracy, streamlining processes, and aligning marketing operations with overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Analyse marketing data using Excel, Python, and other analytical tools to provide actionable insights.
- Generate weekly and monthly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for the marketing team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting needs and ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports.
PowerPoint Presentation Development:
- Create visually appealing and informative joint brand marketing PowerPoint presentations to communicate data insights, marketing performance, and strategy to stakeholders.
- Ensure that presentations are clear, concise, and tailored to the different audiences.
Market Analysis and Insights:
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.
- Provide actionable insights to guide marketing and sales strategies.
- Build a competitive intelligence dashboard, by collaborating with Trade Marketing Managers, Regional Sales Managers and Distributor Sales team and corelate with industry research reports from Nielsen Kantar, Ipsos, McKinsey, Euromonitor International, etc., in supporting our brand marketing pitch decks.
Data Management:
- Manage and maintain marketing data sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Work closely with IT and data teams to ensure accurate data collection and storage.
Performance Tracking, Reporting & Presentation:
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations that communicate the performance and impact of marketing efforts to Marketing management.
- Use PowerPoint and other presentation tools to create clear, visually compelling reports that facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of all marketing activities.
- Prepare monthly reports on marketing performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Work with various teams including sales, finance, and product to align on metrics and reporting standards.
- Support the marketing team with ad-hoc analysis and data requests.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree, in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a marketing operations or data analysis role with minimum of 3 years of experience working in Business Consulting, FMCG or with a Marketing Agency.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to perform complex data analysis and modelling.
- Experience with HubSpot, Marketo, or Pardot (experience with HubSpot is a huge plus)
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- An idea-generator: someone who will constantly be working to improve our systems and better support the marketing and sales teams
- Strong ability to create compelling PowerPoint presentations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with data-driven approach to marketing
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work with large datasets and commit to data accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data in a clear and concise manner.
