Nollywood actor Jigan Babaoja has publicly apologized to The African Men Entertainment Kings (AFRIMEK) after being suspended from the organization due to a breach of its constitution.
His apology, delivered via Instagram, acknowledges his misconduct and seeks forgiveness from the club and its members.
In a sincere Instagram post, Jigan Babaoja expressed deep regret for his actions, which led to his suspension from AFRIMEK.
He recognized that his behaviour had violated the club’s core principles, particularly its laws against physical altercations. Babaoja’s message to AFRIMEK’s office of the mayor, disciplinary committee, and fellow members reflected his remorse and understanding of the impact of his actions.
Jigan’s apology highlighted the values of AFRIMEK, which include love, unity, and conflict resolution. He admitted to falling short of these ideals and took full responsibility for his behavior. His request for forgiveness extends not only to the club but also to his fans and family, whom he asked to support his apology and efforts to make amends.
In his message, Jigan Babaoja committed to making reparations, seeking guidance, and rededicating himself to AFRIMEK’s principles. He emphasized his intention to become a better example and to contribute positively to the club’s mission of fostering a supportive and harmonious environment.
AFRIMEK had previously suspended Jigan Babaoja and Adeniyi Johnson for their actions, which were deemed inconsistent with the club’s constitution. The suspension was a measure to address the misconduct and reinforce the club’s standards.
