Sonia Ighalo, the former wife of football star Jude Ighalo, has taken to social media to dispel rumors suggesting she is seeking reconciliation with her ex-husband.
In a candid post, Sonia addressed the speculation head-on, asserting her independence and dismissing claims that she is trying to re-enter Jude’s life.

Sonia wrote, emphasizing her firm stance. She clarified that despite leaving the marriage—citing the inability of two “Queens” to coexist on the same ship, rather than Jude’s alleged promiscuity—she remains supportive of him as the father of their children.
Sonia continued,
Even after we left, not even the most powerful woman in that family could stop us. I will post and celebrate him whenever I want because he is the father of my kids. And if you think sharing his picture means I’m looking for a path back, you’re deceiving yourself.”
This clarification follows a series of posts where Sonia praised Jude Ighalo for his parenting and his support during their time together.
