Nollywood actor Yul Edochie recently posted a lighthearted video on Instagram featuring his wife, Judy Austin.
In the video, the couple can be seen dancing and laughing together, with Yul captioning the post to praise Judy for knowing how to “charge him up.” Despite the fun intent, the post triggered a fresh wave of criticism from netizens, many of whom expressed their disappointment with the actor’s behavior.
The video shows Judy Austin chanting in the Igbo language while Yul Edochie fiercely dances along. At one point, Yul even begins making animal noises, and the couple can be seen bursting into laughter throughout the video, clearly having fun with each other.
However, the playful moment did not sit well with many viewers, and the comment section was flooded with harsh criticisms.
One commenter, dobig024, directly addressed Yul’s first wife, writing
May Edochie, I know this man is the father of your kids but permit me to say that you married a mumu man. Tufiakwa.” Similarly, soberdrunk&88 added a jab at Yul’s appearance, saying, “Keep head like scotch egg way them use local oil fry..”
viola_concept criticized Yul’s priorities, remarking,
Yul the only man that choose hyping over bigger success,” while ifindandipost shaded his intellect with, “His ex-wife was his umbrella then tho. She no let us know say he no too get sense laidat.”
Other commenters took a more reflective tone, like hairvolver, who commented,
To think that at some point, this man was going to contest for presidency… This life sha, may our mistakes not become our definition.” On the other hand, fitmak_official observed, “Why are they always fussing. Looking like they are in constant battle with some unseen people.”
