Portable and wife Ashabi welcome their second child, showered with congratulatory messages. The controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, shared the joyous news on Instagram.
Posting a clip of their newborn daughter alongside maternity photos of Ashabi, Portable expressed gratitude to God for blessing them with a new princess, whom they named Princess Irorunloluwa Eyitayo.
In his heartfelt message, Portable thanked God for not shaming them and showered Ashabi with praise. He vowed to always support her, declaring, “I fly with you forever.” The singer expressed his deep love for his growing family, referring to Ashabi as “Mummy Akoi Blessings” and welcoming their daughter with the words, “Welcome to the world Ọmọ OGO.”
Ashabi also took to social media, overjoyed at the birth of her second child, calling her daughter her “playmate” and praying for God’s blessings. The couple’s bond has seen its ups and downs, but this new addition to their family marks a joyful milestone.
Earlier in June, Portable had revealed Ashabi was pregnant with their second child, despite some public drama. Despite a brief spat where Ashabi allegedly threatened to step aside from the relationship, she later celebrated their 2nd anniversary with a prayer for wisdom to navigate their imperfect love. The couple had also experienced another rough patch in January when Ashabi gave an interview about their relationship, which infuriated Portable.
Despite these challenges, Portable and Ashabi have solidified their relationship, and the birth of their daughter has further strengthened their bond.
