Federal Government reveals plans to create one million jobs

Federal Government says it is committed to providing one million jobs to combat young unemployment in all 774 of the country’s local government units.

Ayodele Olawande, Minister of State for Youth Development, issued this statement on Friday in Abuja.

Olawande stated that the federal government is committed to educating, inspiring, and connecting Nigerian adolescents to insurance vocations and possibilities via the use of digital technology.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to promoting young engagement in the insurance industry, creating employment, and improving financial inclusion.

This comes after the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) announced that starting in November, the Federal Government will launch a new rural electrification initiative funded by the World Bank to bring energy to 17.5 million Nigerians.
