Olusegun Osoba, former governor of Ogun State, has urged Nigerians to forgive President Bola Tinubu’s imperfections.

Osoba expressed confidence that Tinubu will perform well during his second term in government.

The former governor of Ogun state addressed the All Progressives Congress (APC) South West Zone Assembly meeting in Lagos.

The former governor stated that Yorubas supported Tinubu’s administration and believed in his ability to deliver on his promises.

Olusegun Osoba further said that Nigerians elected Tinubu president.

According to Osoba:

“Now that Tinubu is there, I want to plead with all of you to accept his shortcomings. He will do better. After his first four-year term, he will serve another four years as a Yoruba son.

“The South West Assembly’s message is clear – the Yoruba leadership stands united behind Tinubu’s presidency and remains confident in his ability to deliver on his promises during his tenure.

“Bola didn’t make himself the President of Nigeria; we did,” Osoba added.
