Nollywood actor Jamiu Azeez has sent heartfelt prayers to his colleague, Nkechi Blessing, following the exciting news that actress Sotayo Gaga is expecting her first child.
Sotayo, who got married to a Northerner in 2021, recently took to Instagram to share a video showing off her baby bump with the caption “Mood.” According to reports, the light-skinned actress has already welcomed her child, although official confirmation is still pending.
In response to the joyful news, many of Sotayo’s colleagues, including Nkechi Blessing, sent their congratulations. Jamiu Azeez, noticing Nkechi’s comment, took a moment to pray for her, wishing that she would be the next to receive similar congratulations. “You are next to be congratulated insha Allah,” he wrote. Nkechi, touched by his words, replied with a heartfelt “Amen, Amen, Amen.”
Nkechi Blessing’s personal life has been in the spotlight recently. The actress is currently in a relationship with Delta-born star Xxssive, and in July, she hinted that she might be ready for marriage. She mentioned that the recent weddings of Davido and Sharon Ooja had inspired her and even mused about a potential wedding hashtag for her and her boyfriend. Nkechi shared her belief in the beauty of love, encouraging her followers not to be cynical about it.
The actress has also been vocal about her relationship with Xxssive. Ahead of their third anniversary, she shared a picture of them kissing on Instagram, urging her followers to find happiness wherever they can. When a fan questioned whether her boyfriend was her true source of happiness, Nkechi cheekily replied that her boyfriend “isn’t a loose dog.”
Nkechi has previously expressed her gratitude for Xxssive’s support, crediting him with helping her become a better person. She even defended her decision to date younger men after critics shamed her, proudly sharing a video of Xxssive surprising her with a bouquet and money. Nkechi told her critics that she prefers younger men because they “stay winning.”
In addition to her relationship, Nkechi Blessing recently made headlines for her latest purchase: the much-talked-about iPhone 16. Taking to Instagram, she flaunted her new phone alongside her collection of previous models, stating, “We don’t swap over here 13,14,15 and 16!!”
This acquisition came shortly after Nkechi lamented spending her life savings at an event, where she generously sprayed money during her colleague’s movie premiere. She humorously called out the singer at the event, joking that his performance had cost her all her savings.
Nkechi joins a growing list of celebrities acquiring the iPhone 16, including Timini Egbuson, Don Jazzy, and Cubana Chief Priest, who expressed a desire to buy five of the new devices for his wife and sons.
