Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has joined the thousands celebrating the birthday of Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Tinubu.
Taking to her Instagram, she described Seyi as a “visionary leader,” “King of Boys,” and the “Prince of Villa,” calling him a steadfast philanthropist and a beacon of hope for Nigeria’s youth.
In her birthday tribute, she praised him for his impact on humanity, praying for his continuous success in inspiring future generations. She wrote:
Happy birthday to a visionary leader! The King of Boys, Youth President, Oju Èko, The Prince of Villa. A steadfast philanthropist, beacon of hope, and champion of the people.”
However, her post didn’t sit well with some followers, who accused her of engaging in “eye service” and flattering Seyi Tinubu excessively. The criticism comes as no surprise, given her close ties with the Tinubu family and her vocal support for President Tinubu during his campaign, which led to some public backlash.
Eniola Badmus has been unapologetic in her support, even receiving an appreciation award for her contributions to the success of the Renewed Hope concert. She was also recognized by the APC Youth Stakeholders Forum, dedicating the award to the youths who supported the “Renewed Hope” agenda despite the backlash.
