Nollywood actress Mama No Network has joined the ranks of celebrities with chieftaincy titles as she celebrates her new honor in Ijebuland.
Taking to her Instagram page, the Yoruba actress, who remarried last year, joyfully announced that she has been conferred with the title “Yeye Owu Ojuwo of Ijebuland.”
Congratulations to me!!!! Mama No Network as Yeye Owu Ojuwo of Ijebuland,” she wrote, sharing the exciting news with her followers.
Fans and colleagues quickly flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages. Fellow actress Mistura Asunramu expressed her joy, writing, “Congratulations.” Other well-wishers followed suit, with one fan, Yemi Dada2022, commenting, “Congratulations. Omo iye mi Ijebu Ode. Oye amori lagbara olorun amin.”
Other messages of celebration included “Oye moori ooo” and “Congratulations but network dey today o,” a playful nod to her nickname.
Mama No Network’s chieftaincy title adds her to a growing list of celebrities who have been recognized for their contributions to culture and tradition. In September last year, actress Monalisa Chinda was similarly honored for her cultural impact, while actor Jim Iyke received the title “OHADIKE 1 OF NDIGBO” in Ghana for his achievements in the African entertainment industry.
In addition, BBNaija Pepper Dem winner Whitemoney was awarded the title “Ùgwù ńdi Igbo” (The Pride of Igbos) and expressed his intention to use the honor to inspire the youth in his community.
As the Yeye Owu Ojuwo of Ijebuland, Mama No Network’s new role celebrates her growing influence and contributions, further cementing her place in Nollywood and beyond.
