Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has taken a stand against critics who wish for her to leave her older husband, Ned Nwoko.
In a recent Instagram story, Regina shared a screenshot of a conversation between her and her husband, showcasing his concern for her well-being.
In the chat, Regina informed Ned that she was going out for dinner with some colleagues. However, Ned requested to know their names and asked her to send a video of them. He also expressed worry for her health, reminding her that she had come home late at 8 am and suggesting she should rest instead. He concluded the conversation by affirming his love for her, advising her not to overexert herself.
Regina responded to the criticism by stating, “Such an understanding hubby. And people say I should leave?? I die here.”
Regina Daniels shocked many when she married Ned Nwoko in April 2019, who is 38 years her senior. She has previously revealed that her stubborn nature led her to marry an older man, as she believed it would help her be more submissive.
Ned Nwoko has also refuted rumors suggesting he met Regina through her mother, stating that they fell in love and got married within just three weeks.
The couple celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary in May with a photoshoot, where Regina expressed that the past five years had been remarkable, filled with love. Ned echoed her sentiments, describing their time together as good and eventful, noting that they were just getting started.
