Popular Nigerian disc jockey DJ Big N has lauded music executive Don Jazzy for his generous donation to embattled crossdresser Bobrisky.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, DJ Big N revealed that Don Jazzy had never spoken to or met Bobrisky before, yet he promptly donated millions when a mutual friend reached out for support after Bobrisky’s recent troubles.
DJ Big N emphasized that Don Jazzy’s act of kindness reflects his benevolence, as he has a history of helping those in need, often without public acknowledgment. He stated,
A mutual friend of Bob’s came out to raise funds when he came out of jail and reached out to Jazzy to donate. Out of the benevolence of his heart, he donated, just like he has done uncountable times for people he doesn’t know from Adam. That never made it to the internet.”
Addressing recent drama involving Oluwadolarz, DJ Big N clarified that he introduced Oluwadolarz to Don Jazzy and noted that there is no animosity between them. He asserted that in an industry where allegations of sexual favors for career advancement are rampant, it’s only fair for Don Jazzy to speak out against such behavior.
He commented, “In a society where narratives are thrown around about reaching the top in music through sexual favors, it’s only right for him to want to oust these perpetrators from the game by first identifying them.”
DJ Big N also pointed out that many celebrities use controversy to promote their work, highlighting that Oluwadolarz released a new song shortly after his post about the alleged incident.
In response to Oluwadolarz’s claims about being pressured into a sexual relationship for career advancement, Don Jazzy urged him to name the alleged perpetrator directly if he stands by his accusations.
Don Jazzy’s philanthropic efforts are well-known; he has a reputation for supporting fans and those in need. Notably, he once gifted a frustrated university student ₦500,000 after the student shared his struggles. He has also contributed over 2 million naira to various individuals on social media, including a homeless man and students in need of financial assistance. Recently, he even gifted a fan a new camera to help him pursue his passion.
