Veteran Nollywood actor Jide Kosoko shared a spiritual moment this morning, donning Catholic vestments in a heartfelt prayer.
Posting a video on his Instagram page, Kosoko expressed gratitude to his Maker for life and health, extending his appreciation for the lives of his fans and followers.
He captioned his post, saying,
I thank Almighty God that I am alive this morning, whole and hearty; I thank God for your life too. Bi emi ba ea, ireti nbe. Good morning, all.”
In response, one fan inquired why he wasn’t wearing a rosary, writing,
Baba. Where’s your rosary?” Meanwhile, other followers expressed Amen to his prayers and shared their thoughts in the comments. Queen Akins_j, one of his followers, noted, “Huh. That Ireti is what me and my family need right now. We pray for God’s restoration.” Another fan, Tunde Olayinka, simply commented, “Amen, father.”
Jide Kosoko has previously revealed his spiritual commitments, as he was recently appointed as the head of his royal family at the Oteniya branch. Presented to the Oloriebi in Council, he also confirmed his role as the Family Ambassador. Kosoko prayed for wisdom to unify and advance his family.
Earlier in the year, he took a public stand against drug abuse, sharing a photo dressed in an NDLEA outfit and humorously dubbing himself the “New Chairman of NDLEA.” He joked about banning certain drugs and drinks, while endorsing water as the only approved beverage.
