Veteran Nollywood actor Afeez Owo Abiodun recently shared his experience of finding peace while vacationing in Canada.
Posting on Instagram, he shared photos with fellow actors Esther Kalejaiye, Iya Ibadan, Abiola Bayo, Ademola Tijani, and others as they attended an award ceremony and toured the city.
In his reflective post, Afeez shared how he has come to find comfort in believing that “everything happens for a reason” and that there’s “a time for everything.” This realization, he said, has brought him peace and a deeper sense of purpose during his travels.
His wife, actress Mide Martins Abiodun, also expressed her emotions during his departure. A few days before he boarded his flight to Canada, she shared a heartfelt video on Instagram, showing a tender moment at the airport. Overcome with emotion, Mide kissed her husband goodbye, tearfully wishing him success and a pleasant journey.
Mide and Afeez have a history of publicly expressing their love and commitment. In April 2022, Mide made a vow to Afeez on his birthday, calling him her “better half” and sharing photos of the two in a wedding outfit. The couple’s unwavering support for each other remains a beloved aspect of their relationship in the eyes of fans.
