Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has expressed her gratitude to veteran actor Pete Edochie for mediating and resolving her longstanding feud with colleague Zubby Michael.
A few days ago, the pair surprised fans when Zubby shared a video on Instagram of the two reconciling over a smoke. Their reunion marked the end of months of publicized disputes and bitter exchanges.
Taking to her Instagram page, Angela opened up about the reconciliation, crediting Pete Edochie for stepping in as a peacemaker. She also acknowledged others who facilitated their resolution and shared that their fight stemmed from disagreements on a movie set.
It’s love and peace season, fam,” Angela wrote. “My people, no be small thing happened yesterday with my G @zubbymichael. We fought, settled our differences, and everything ended in praise, which is the most important thing.”
She thanked Pete Edochie for his fatherly intervention and others, including Mr. China, Prime World, Rockselly Movies, and online fans, for their prayers and support. Angela revealed that she and Zubby are now focused on delivering quality movies together, promising their fans “back-to-back hits.”
Angela’s feud with Zubby was marked by public altercations, including accusations following the death of their colleague Junior Pope. Angela had previously criticized Zubby for not publicly mourning him, accusing him of selfish motives and even questioning his choice of attire at the funeral.
With their differences now resolved, Angela announced that they are ready to work together on new projects, starting with the movie Unholy Fantasy, produced by Ify Eze. She wished success to the project and extended her gratitude to fans, family, and colleagues for their unwavering support during the tumultuous period.
Angela concluded her post with a message of peace, humor, and hope, encouraging her fans to anticipate exciting collaborations with Zubby in the future.
