Ubi Franklin, a renowned talent manager, has responded to fans speculating about his lingering feelings for his ex-wife, actress Lilian Esoro.
The former couple recently reunited at their son Jayden’s school Christmas party. In a video shared on Ubi’s Instagram page, the co-parents were seen sitting together with their son as they posed for a family moment.
In the comment section of the post, a fan, Glory Louis27, remarked, “Ubi is so in love with Lilian. She’s a pretty woman and my favorite,” to which Ubi replied with laughing emojis.
Other fans joined the conversation, expressing hopes for the couple to reconcile:

This recent family appearance wasn’t the first time the duo was seen together this year. In July, they reunited to celebrate their son’s 8th birthday. While Ubi posted a family photo with Lilian on his Instagram, she refrained from sharing any pictures of him on her profile.
Earlier this year, after attending Davido’s wedding, Ubi opened up about his feelings for Lilian. He shared that despite their divorce, he will always care for her as the mother of their son.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2015, separated a year after welcoming Jayden. Following years of legal proceedings, their marriage was officially dissolved on January 28, 2021.
Reflecting on the marriage, Ubi noted on Instagram that staying in a relationship without love leads to resentment and unhappiness. Lilian also spoke about their struggles, revealing that their issues started before their wedding. Despite the challenges, she expressed gratitude for her son and shared how the divorce led her to seek therapy after battling depression.
