Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has taken to social media to express her admiration and pride in her second daughter, Olivia Idibia, for her selfless birthday wish.
Olivia, daughter of 2baba and Annie, turned 11 last month, and when asked by her parents how she wanted to celebrate, her response left them both surprised and emotional. The young girl requested to spend her birthday with 300 less privileged children in Ogbombo. Annie shared that she was touched by Olivia’s heartfelt wish, which showed that her daughter was thinking beyond her years.
Annie, in her Instagram post, said,
It got me so teary, and it struck me once again that this child wasn’t only thinking way beyond her age but it was her heart. The thoughts, gosh! The honesty in her eyes.”
Despite initially not taking Olivia’s wish seriously when she mentioned it the previous year, Annie was moved when her daughter reiterated the desire for a charitable celebration.
The proud mother continued, sharing how Olivia reminded her of their family tradition of giving back on birthdays. “Mama, remember you used to do this during our own birthdays too,” Olivia had said, before adding with excitement, “But I want an actual party with music, DJ, games, and everything!”
Annie and 2baba were happy to support Olivia’s wish, making it a reality by organizing a day of celebration with the 300 children.
