Nigerian Fuji legend King Wasiu Ayinde, widely known as Kwam1 or K1 de Ultimate, is mourning the loss of his wife, Alhaja Hafsat Anifowoshe.
The heartbreaking news came as reports confirmed her passing in the early hours of today due to an undisclosed illness.
Alhaja Hafsat, aged 65, was laid to rest at Abari Cemetery in Lagos, following Islamic burial rites.
In a statement, the Chief Press Secretary to the LIEL CDA Chairman described her as an extraordinary woman and a devoted mother whose life was dedicated to serving God and humanity. He expressed condolences to the bereaved family, urging them to find strength in her legacy.
We know it hurts so deeply to lose a loving mother and dependable partner. You must, however, take solace in the time your mother spent on earth and her good service to God and humanity. Rest assured that our thoughts are with you, and our prayers are that you, the children, and all those she left behind will find the strength to continue where she stopped. May her soul find eternal rest,” the statement read.
