Adeyemi Adebisi Aminat, the daughter of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyeye, has taken a firm stand against Queen Dami, his former wife, over her controversial actions on social media.
In a series of Instagram story posts, Adebisi expressed disapproval of Dami’s comments regarding someone’s paternity issues, pointing out what she called the irony of her statements. Adebisi accused Dami of not knowing the father of her own child and alleged that the child was purchased in Port Harcourt.
The fact that we are not talking doesn’t mean we don’t know what to say,” Adebisi wrote, stressing that the royal throne of Alaafin should not be disrespected. She warned Dami against further provocations and disclosed that she possessed blood test results and other evidence gathered before the King’s death.
She stated,
Dammy, you are insulting someone that they don’t know the father of their child. Do you know the father of your own child? The child you went to buy in Port Harcourt. The Alaafin’s throne is not to be rubbished. Don’t play with me. I have all the blood tests and evidence before the King passed away. Go and give the child to the rightful owner.”
Queen Dami, who was once married to the late Alaafin of Oyo, left the royal palace after allegedly violating palace rules. Following the King’s demise, Dami moved on with Nigerian artist Portable, who confirmed their relationship in 2023. According to Portable, their bond developed after the King’s passing, as he claimed he never entertained relationships with married women.
