Nigerian entertainer Noble Igwe has sparked conversation by openly criticizing the use of frontals, a popular hairstyle among women.

In an Instagram story post, Igwe pointed out that despite the significant financial investment involved in frontals, they often result in a less polished, messy look.

He mentioned common issues with frontals, including visible lace and natural hair peeking through once the adhesive dries. Noble also highlighted the appearance of artificial baby hairs that sometimes extend past the eyebrows and overly curled sideburns, which he believes contribute to a disheveled effect. He noted that many women avoid receiving honest feedback from friends about their frontals, but he felt it was important to share the sentiments of those who often hesitate to speak up.

In addition to his opinions on beauty trends, Noble’s post has added fuel to the ongoing discussions about the challenges and perceptions surrounding hair and beauty standards. This comment comes as he also engages in other online discussions, including one with comedian Seyi Law.
