The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has declared that corrupt Nigerian leaders will soon be exposed as the country undergoes a transformation.
Speaking at a press conference on Monday, PFN National Deputy President, Archbishop JohnPraise Daniel, made the statement ahead of the fellowship’s 40th anniversary celebration.
Archbishop Daniel emphasized the need for economic diversification, urging Nigeria to reduce its dependence on oil and revitalize the agricultural sector to ensure long-term economic stability.
He also called on the government to implement policies that promote entrepreneurship**, particularly among young graduates, noting that the government alone cannot provide jobs for all citizens.
According to Archbishop Daniel:
“This is why we are calling for the rebirth of a great nation. We must transition to a productive economy rather than a dependent one. If our economy were thriving, our people would not feel compelled to leave the country in search of opportunities abroad.
“Our leaders have a responsibility to create an environment where basic needs are met—where lives and property are protected, food is abundant, and corruption is eliminated. Only then can we build a nation we are proud to call home.
“We advocate for zero tolerance for corruption. The Church, as the conscience of the nation, is committed to seeing corruption eradicated,” Archbishop Daniel said.
The cleric expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future, stating that the country is on the path to a new beginning, which will bring accountability, justice, and economic progress.
