Nollywood actress, Chika Ike has firmly addressed recent reports alleging she is expecting a child with businessman Ned Nwoko, the husband of her colleague Regina Daniels.
In a detailed post on her Instagram page, the actress dismissed the claims, labeling them as baseless fabrications.
The rumors gained traction earlier this week following her pregnancy announcement, with speculation suggesting that Ned Nwoko was the father and planning to make Chika his seventh wife.
Chika clarified that she values her privacy and revealed that she has been pregnant for months without the public knowing. She emphasized that polygamy is not for her and stated unequivocally that Ned is not the father of her child.
People don’t know anything about me except what I choose to share,” she said. “Keep digging and spreading false news. I’m at peace, and nothing can unsettle me. My focus is on my pregnancy and my child.”
Chika also reflected on how rumors have plagued her career over the years, noting that she often ignores them. However, she chose to respond to this particular story as it involved her unborn child.
This is not the first time Chika has been linked to Ned Nwoko. In 2020, rumours circulated that she was in a relationship with him, which both parties denied.
