Nollywood actor and content creator Ganiyu Kehinde, popularly known as Ijoba Lande, has accused his colleague Baba Tee of contributing to his failed marriage. Lande revealed on social media that his wife left him in January 2025, leaving him in emotional turmoil.
In a heartfelt post, Ijoba Lande recounted the struggles he faced in his marriage before his wife’s departure. He disclosed that his wife had avoided intimacy for eight months, citing hormonal issues, and eventually left him with only ₦7,000 in his account. The actor, now the sole caregiver for their child, chose to withhold further details out of respect for their child but hinted at revealing more in the future.
My wife left my house in January 2025. When everyone was rejoicing about the New Year, I was in deep sadness. Before she left, she didn’t allow me to have sex with her for 8 months, saying her hormones were not working. Right now, I am both the father and mother to our child.”
In an Instagram video, Ijoba Lande called out Baba Tee, accusing him of blocking him on social media and contributing to his marital troubles. Lande expressed disappointment in Baba Tee, whom he once respected, and warned him against sharing motivational speeches online.
As you blocked me on Instagram, make sure you block me in real life. If I see you doing any motivational work, you will see what I will do to you.”
This isn’t the first time Baba Tee has faced criticism related to relationships. The actor has experienced three failed marriages, with his first marriage to Yetunde Bustline Oduwole ending over alleged infidelity. His second marriage to London-based Dupe Odulate also ended, with Odulate publicly announcing their separation in 2019. Despite his troubled history, Baba Tee remarried and welcomed his first child with his third wife in 2020.
In 2023, Ijoba Lande made headlines when he went missing, prompting concern from his wife and colleagues. He later revealed that he left home due to depression, highlighting the mental health struggles he has faced.
