Israel DMW, the personal logistics manager to Nigerian music star Davido, has once again shared his thoughts on the complexities of life. From his reflections on the struggles of paying rent to his views on staying true to one’s roots, Israel’s candidness continues to spark conversation among his followers.
Israel DMW, known for his unfiltered perspectives, recently took to social media to express his frustration with the complexities of life. In a post, he humorously lamented about paying rent, only to find that the network and fresh air were more accessible outside his home. He wrote:
Person go pay house rent finish, network and fresh air go dey outside. Na wa.”
His words resonated with many, leading to a flurry of responses. Dancer Poco Lee humorously replied, suggesting that Israel wouldn’t have to pay rent if he simply stayed outside. Other comments included playful jabs and lighthearted reactions to Israel’s frustration.
In addition to his personal reflections, Israel DMW has been outspoken about issues affecting his home state of Edo. Recently, he called for the resignation of Edo State Governor, Okpebholo, claiming the state has been plagued by unrest since his tenure began. Israel suggested that the governor hand over leadership to his opponent, Asue Ighadalo, whom he believed the people had voted for.
A week ago, Israel also shared his excitement about receiving his U.S. visa, comparing America to heaven and expressing his gratitude for his tribe and the country. Reflecting on his experience, he stated that America was only “46 minutes from Heaven.”
Despite his travels, Israel DMW has been adamant about his deep connection to his hometown, Benin City. Last year, he promised never to leave Benin, citing the importance of the city to his identity and pride. He declared that Benin is where a true Oba resides and even confirmed that his boss, Davido, and others were aware of his commitment to stay in Benin.
In another recent post, Israel shared a photo of himself flying economy class, using the opportunity to emphasize the importance of living within one’s means. He advised his fans and followers to avoid trying to please others at the expense of their own comfort. His message was simple but powerful: “Cut your coat according to your pocket.”
