Media personality and entrepreneur Toke Makinwa has raised concerns about receiving unsolicited marriage proposals in her work email. Sharing her frustrations on her Instagram story, Toke urged suitors to stop spamming her professional platform, reminding them that her entire team has access to these messages.
Toke Makinwa humorously addressed the situation, posting, “Pls tell your uncles to stop spamming my work emails. My entire team has access to it. Some Sunday humour.” This comes shortly after the media star revealed on her podcast that she is open to settling down, even as a second, third, or fourth wife.
In another podcast episode, Toke candidly discussed being single and childless at 40. Reflecting on her journey, she admitted that had she remarried after her first divorce, it might have ended in separation due to continuous personal growth and lessons. Despite societal expectations, Toke emphasized her focus on her accomplishments and the love she receives from those around her, refusing to succumb to self-pity.
Toke, previously married to fitness expert Maje Ayinde, saw her union dissolve in 2016 after two years, following allegations of infidelity. She has since opened up about the trauma and public scrutiny she endured, often being blamed for the failed marriage despite her ex-husband fathering a child with another woman.
