Nollywood actress and media personality Nancy Isime has opened up about the creative process behind her talked-about outfit at the 17th Headies Awards. The actress, who wore a bold ensemble featuring a short outfit paired with a net design that showcased her thighs, faced criticism online for her daring fashion choice.
Taking to Instagram, Nancy shared a video detailing the journey from concept to execution of her Headies outfit. She revealed behind-the-scenes moments, including script readings, creative brainstorming sessions, rehearsals, fittings, and backstage activities.
Nancy acknowledged the negative reactions but emphasized the importance of focusing on the positives.
Now that the dust has settled, let me take you through my process for The Headies 2025,” she began.
I know it’s easy to focus on the negatives that we most times lose sight of the positives. To be honest, I was going to completely not post anything from that night because I’m such a sucker for excellence until Dubem sent me this and I was like… Yeah! I’m posting.”
Her post encouraged fans to appreciate the effort and dedication that went into the event.
