Nollywood actress and comedian Wofai Fada has joyously marked her first wedding anniversary with her husband, Taiwo Cole, despite facing rejection from her in-laws.
On May 4th, 2024, Wofai Fada celebrated one year of marriage to Taiwo Cole, sharing beautiful memories with her husband and their daughter. The actress, who had a traditional wedding amidst opposition from her in-laws, reflected on the joy and significance of the day she became Mrs. Cole.

In 2024, Wofai and Taiwo’s marriage was met with controversy when the Cole family publicly distanced themselves from the union. A statement from the Cole family, signed by Engineer Kunle Cole, denied any knowledge of the marriage and advised the public to disregard any reports or documents about the wedding.
Despite the family’s rejection, Wofai and Taiwo remained steadfast, holding their traditional ceremony in her hometown surrounded by friends and well-wishers. The couple also welcomed their first child, a beautiful baby girl, later that year.
