The actress was first nominated for the award in March, where she had expressed profound gratitude for the recognition. Reflecting on her journey, Chioma emphasized that every role she plays is a story shared with the audience and that their support motivates her to continue.

Femi Adebayo, who worked alongside Chioma on Seven Doors, shared kind words about her on her birthday. He praised her as an extraordinary talent, highlighting her infectious humor, unmatched energy, and the warmth she brings to every character. He added that Seven Doors wouldn’t have been the same without her.

The movie Seven Doors tells the intriguing tale of a king’s reign, his lineage, and his complex marital life with his wife Amaka, played by Chioma. Femi Adebayo revealed that casting Chioma was a divine decision, noting that she initially declined his offer, but he persisted, believing it was meant to be. Chioma later connected with the script and felt it was God’s plan that she become available for the project.
