Prominent Nigerian businessman IVD has raised public alarm with a shocking social media post, accusing an unidentified individual of orchestrating a series of malicious attacks aimed at destroying his life and keeping him separated from his children.
In the now-viral Instagram post, IVD alleged that the unnamed person has gone to great lengths to tarnish his reputation by paying bloggers to spread damaging narratives about him. Furthermore, he claimed his life is in jeopardy, stating that the individual has threatened to poison or assassinate him.
You said you’ve got all police contacts and nothing will happen if you kill me,” IVD wrote, accusing the person of boasting about their influence within law enforcement, which allegedly includes covering up crimes and securing releases for offenders.
Adding to the emotional weight of his revelations, IVD shared that he has not seen his five children in three years, blaming the same individual for taking them away. He recounted how his eldest daughter, Ebube, was reportedly told that their family would never reunite.
This distressing disclosure comes on the heels of a tragedy in 2022 when IVD’s wife, Bimbo, passed away from severe burns during a violent altercation at their Lekki residence. The incident led to IVD facing charges of involuntary manslaughter by the Lagos State Government.
Since then, IVD said his life has spiraled further into turmoil. He claimed he was robbed of personal belongings while in detention, with only some items recovered by the police. He also lamented the loss of his late wife’s possessions, which he said were never returned.
Everything you stole belongs to my kids. The day I speak, the world will know that men are going through hell too,” he wrote.
IVD concluded his post with a dire warning:
If anything happens to me, know that my life is in your hands. You said you’ve paid everybody to end my life. You’re not God.”
