Farida Fasasi, the wife of the late Nigerian music legend Sound Sultan, celebrated Children’s Day 2025 by sharing a touching photo of herself with their three children.

Last year, on her 40th birthday, Farida expressed gratitude for the wisdom and growth life has given her, sharing a beautiful photo of herself and her children. She prayed for continued love, laughter, and progress as she embraced a new chapter in life.
Sound Sultan tragically passed away on July 11, 2021, after battling Angioimmunoblastic T-cell Lymphoma, a rare form of throat cancer. Before his passing, he underwent chemotherapy treatment in the United States.
Notable Nigerian artists have continued to honor Sound Sultan’s legacy. Singer 2baba visited his grave during a trip to the U.S., paying respect alongside friends like Emma Ugolee and Frankie J. Similarly, singer Jaywon shared heartfelt posts last year, describing Sound Sultan as a mentor filled with wisdom and an inspiration whose influence lives on.
