Nigerian singer Portable, known for his unfiltered remarks, has taken a jab at Nollywood actress Biola Bayo following the announcement of her separation from her husband.
Biola, while celebrating her estranged husband’s birthday, revealed that they parted ways in April of the previous year and have since decided to co-parent their son amicably. Apologizing to her fans and addressing those who might feel let down, the actress expressed her regret that her marriage didn’t work out but emphasized that her decision was necessary for her well-being. She urged fans to pray for her and her family, sharing the emotional toll her situation had taken on her.
It’s ironic how I go about making others happy while my pillow has been soaked with tears almost every night for the past 14 months,” she wrote in her heartfelt message.
Reacting to the news in a video circulating online, Portable mocked the actress for the irony of her situation. Referring to a past interview Biola conducted with his wife, the singer questioned how she could advise others while struggling in her own home.
So you aren’t in your husband’s house, yet you have been interviewing other people’s wives. No problem. So your house isn’t settled? You know, life is just like drama,” he remarked.
Biola Bayo’s journey has been far from easy. In 2023, after years of waiting, she welcomed her first child in her 40s through surrogacy. The actress had previously shared her painful experiences with failed IVF attempts and surrogacy challenges, highlighting her resilience and gratitude for her son.
