On the night of March 17, American rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was asked to leave a section at LoanDepot Park in Miami during a baseball game between Mexico and Puerto Rico for the World Baseball Classic. According to a source who spoke with Page Six, Tekashi was heavily intoxicated and was disturbing other fans in the section.
The source stated that Tekashi was “drunk, inebriated, and out of control,” causing interruptions to the experience of other guests. The rapper’s behaviour was bothering families who were present at the game.
In a video that surfaced on social media, Tekashi was seen standing up and waving his flag, blocking the view of other fans. He appeared to be losing his balance and falling over in another clip shared on Instagram.
Tekashi, who is of Mexican descent, was eventually removed from the section due to his disruptive behaviour.
It is unclear whether there will be any further consequences for Tekashi following this incident.
