Nigerian former music producer Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Tee Billz has taken to Instagram to call out Vanessa, Tiwa Savage’s manager, accusing her of overbooking the singer and neglecting their son, Jamil.
In a now-deleted post, Tee Billz alleged that Vanessa cares more about her earnings than Tiwa’s responsibilities as a mother.
The former producer revealed that Jamil recently expressed feelings of loneliness and hurt due to his mother’s frequent absences. While he acknowledged his love and respect for Tiwa, Tee Billz accused Vanessa of exploiting the singer, stating that she was initially hired as Tiwa’s PR before being promoted to manager.
I love the mother of my child, but God will expose you! You only care about your percentage. I hired you as PR, and the mother of my child, out of guilt, made you manager. My son confessed to being lonely and hurt. Respectfully, you’re a fraud, Vanessa,” he wrote.
Tee Billz further questioned Vanessa’s competence as a manager, citing her lack of achievements, such as securing billboards for Tiwa’s promotions.
This public fallout is surprising, given Tee Billz’s earlier statements about maintaining peace in their family. Earlier this year, he shared a photo of Tiwa and their son bonding with his own son from another relationship, advising online followers to stay out of their family matters.
In the past, Tee Billz has praised Tiwa Savage for her dedication as a single mother. Last year, he acknowledged her efforts to present him as a superhero to their son, even during times when he could not meet financial expectations.
Tee Billz and Tiwa Savage’s marriage, once a celebrated union, ended in 2018 following accusations of infidelity and drug abuse on both sides. Tiwa later opened up about the challenges she faced in the marriage, describing it as a miserable experience and denying rumors of infidelity.
