Nigerian socialite Cubana Chief Priest has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take decisive action to end open grazing across the nation.

Reacting to the ongoing brutal killings in Benue State, the socialite took to Instagram to passionately appeal for immediate intervention, describing the damage caused by open grazing as “brutal.”

In his message, Chief Priest urged the President to outlaw public grazing and encouraged Northerners to feed their cattle in ranches. He also implored the people of Benue to defend themselves, emphasizing that self-defense is not a crime.

Make that order now!!! End public grazing. The level of damage done is brutal. This madness has to stop. Feed your cattle in your ranches. Benue people, sharpen your sword. No gree for anybody to kpai you. To defend yourselves no be crime!!!” he wrote.

Last month, Cubana Chief Priest met with President Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima, where he pledged loyalty and support. Despite receiving criticism for his actions during these meetings, he dismissed the backlash, attributing it to envy. He also emphasized the importance of aligning with individuals who represent his vision for the future, citing his encounters with other influential leaders, including Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
