She assured her late mother that her family is thriving and that her grandchildren continue to honour her memory with love and prayers.

Funke and her siblings announced the loss of their mother in February 2023. Since then, the award-winning actress has shared numerous tributes, celebrating her mother’s selflessness, love, and unwavering support. On her mother’s 70th posthumous birthday last year, Funke vowed to uphold her values and continue making her proud.
