Yoruba Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa is celebrating her son, Baby Olufire, as he turns seven months old. In an emotional update, the proud mother described her son as her “rainbow after the storm” while sharing his latest growth milestones.
In a heartfelt post, Dayo shared a video of her toddler playing and revealed that he recently said his first word, “Dada,” much to her playful jealousy. She also noted that her son has started crawling, which has led to rearranging the house to ensure his safety. Additionally, Baby Olufire now stands with support and actively plays with his family, creating cherished moments.
My rainbow after the storm. WOW. Baby Olufire is 7 months old today. He said his first word, ‘Dada,’ which made me feel jealous. He has started crawling (forcing my hands to rearrange and clear everywhere in the house). He’s standing with support and plays a lot with us. I’m forever grateful to have such a great time and memories with you, my treasure,” she wrote.
Dayo welcomed her son in November last year after enduring a challenging journey to motherhood. Reflecting on her struggles, the actress has often shared how she faced three miscarriages, infertility battles, and emotional turmoil. She recalled being abandoned by her ex-husband, who left her for someone else during this difficult period.
Despite these challenges, Dayo’s resilience and faith saw her through. Earlier this year, she opened up about a breakdown she had while praying for her miracle child, giving her Maker an ultimatum to fulfill His promises.
