Nigerian content creator and actor Kamo State has once again shown gratitude to celebrated filmmaker Funke Akindele for her heartwarming generosity. Taking to Instagram, Kamo shared a video capturing the memorable moment when Funke hosted his wife, their newborn, and himself for breakfast and shopping.
According to Kamo, Funke invited his family to spend the weekend at her home, insisting they join her for breakfast with her family in the morning. The day became even more special when Funke took their daughter, Sonia, on a shopping spree.
Mama said Sonia and her mum should come spend the weekend with her. I planned to take them there yesterday afternoon, but Iyami insisted I bring them in the morning for breakfast with her family first. After breakfast, Sonia even did shopping oooo. Thank you, Iyami, for being the mother God gave me through grace,” Kamo wrote.
This isn’t the first time Kamo has expressed his deep appreciation for Funke Akindele’s kindness. Earlier this year, the actor revealed how she supported his family during the birth of their first child. Funke ensured Kamo’s wife received the best medical care, assigned her driver and security for their needs, and even sponsored their child’s naming ceremony.
The proud father described Funke as a blessing, consistently praising her for her unwavering support. Funke, in turn, humbly responded to Kamo’s gratitude, stating that if she hadn’t been available to help, God would have provided someone else.
