Nigerian content creator Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, popularly known as Shank Comics, has revealed a major career shift, announcing that he is no longer a skit maker.
The revelation came during a conversation with fellow entertainers Carter Efe and Sydney Talker after Shank’s appearance at Wizkid’s Hollywood Bowl concert in Los Angeles.
Shank Comics, made the announcement while playfully exchanging banter with his colleagues. When teased about not creating content with Wizkid at the concert, Shank responded,
I no longer think like that. I’m no longer a skit maker,” catching Carter Efe and Sydney Talker off guard.
This revelation marks a significant transition for Shank, who has been exploring new creative avenues. Recently, he gained recognition as Nigeria’s most-streamed Twitch creator and won $10,000 (₦16 million) from Kai Cenat’s “Streamer University” to support his growing career in streaming.
While fans were initially surprised, many have praised Shank for broadening his horizons and venturing into new areas of content creation.
Carter Efe and Sydney Talker were visibly amused and surprised by Shank’s new stance.
