Media personality Do2dtun calls for help for 2Baba following the singer’s emotional apology video on Instagram, raising deep concern over the music icon’s wellbeing.
This comes after 2Baba stirred controversy on Nedu’s podcast, where he stated that men are not built to be sexually loyal to just one woman. According to him, it’s possible for a man to love a woman and still feel the need to sleep with others.
Facing heavy backlash, 2Baba later made a public U-turn. In a video shared on Instagram, he admitted he “messed up” and apologised to his wife Natasha, describing her as the love of his life. He also extended the apology to his kids and fans, saying that his earlier comments do not reflect who he truly is.
Reacting to the video, Do2dtun, in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), expressed concern for the legendary singer, saying something doesn’t sit right.
“Please, I don’t like this 2Face I’m seeing. Something is not right at all. He is vulnerable, and someone is milking it. Whoever is holding that camera is wicked.”
The OAP questioned why the singer—known for his calm and reserved nature—is suddenly retracting statements and apologising publicly in a way that appears forced.
“2Face hardly addresses anything, even during his worst scandals. This isn’t him. He’s regressing, and I hate it. Someone is forcing him to be who he is not.”
Do2dtun stressed the need for 2Baba to get professional help, suggesting that therapy or a proper mental evaluation may be necessary. He pointed out that trauma and fear can make anyone vulnerable, especially when they’re out of a safe or familiar environment.
“This is where you need true friends. This is where a 2Face needs a Sound Sultan. It’s quite sad.”
He concluded by saying that the signs may not make sense now, but with time, people will come to understand what he meant. Do2dtun urged the public to stop always blaming celebrities for their struggles and instead support them in meaningful ways.
“I love him so much. We owe it to people like him to set them straight sometimes. Everyone can make mistakes, but not everyone should be left to deal with them alone.”
