Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been found guilty on two counts of transportation for prostitution in a federal trial but cleared of more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges.
The verdicts were delivered over the course of two days, with the final not guilty ruling on racketeering announced on Wednesday. Diddy, who was present in court with family members, now faces up to 20 years in prison if the judge decides on consecutive sentencing—although they may still be served concurrently.
His defense team is currently pushing for his release while awaiting a sentencing date, which has not yet been fixed.
