Angela Okorie has apologised to Mercy Johnson and Senator Ned Nwoko, taking full responsibility for her past actions and expressing regret over her public outbursts.
In a recent post shared on her Instagram page, the Nollywood actress reflected deeply on recent events that led her to speak out of pain and frustration. Admitting she let emotions take the lead, Angela said she’s now in a space where healing and peace are more important than lashing out.
Angela acknowledged that some of her statements, especially those directed at Mercy Johnson, came from a place of hurt but ended up causing even more damage. She admitted that recent incidents forced her to look inward and realise she could have handled things differently.
My mental health means a lot to me now,” she said, addressing Johnson directly. “I wouldn’t wish you or your family harm. Please, find a place in your heart to forgive me.”
The actress also extended an apology to Senator Ned Nwoko, explaining that her earlier response was driven by anger and misunderstanding, not intended as an act of disrespect. She recalled working with the senator on political campaigns and attending events organised by his family, stating that those shared moments only reinforced her desire to resolve issues peacefully.
Angela concluded her statement by saying she forgives everyone who has hurt her and hopes they can do the same. For her, peace now outweighs the need to prove a point.
This public apology comes after a year-long period of tension and online drama, where Angela accused Mercy Johnson of wrongdoing and recently commented on her health. Her apology marks what many hope will be the end of the feud and the beginning of healing.
